I am a book author, pioneering brand journalist, past Entrepreneur magazine columnist & contributing writer (2009-2016), past Forbes Magazine contributing blogger, and a business management consultant specializing in market analysis, messaging and positioning, and content creation for a select group of high profile businesses and individuals.

Previously, I launched, managed and sold a Boulder, Colo.-based Internet start-up; worked in Acquisitions for Alpha Books/Pearson plc (NYSE: PSO) and John Wiley & Sons, Inc. (NYSE: JW.A); and worked in a variety of staff and executive team roles for start-ups and not-for-profit organizations.

My latest book, all three editions of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Facebook, co-authored with Joe Kraynak, was published by Penguin Group (USA), and I am the co-author of other books, including: The 2009 Internet Directory, Web 2.0 Edition and the The Internet Yellow Pages, 2007 Edition. My next book, tentatively titled Strategy? You don’t know what the hell you’re talking about!, is slated to publish in late-2019.

When I’m not working, I can be found dreaming about training for half-marathons and enjoying life with family and friends.
